As part of its commitment to strengthening higher education and promoting scientific development in Bolivia, AV Consult has donated specialized laboratory equipment to the Chemistry Department of the Universidad Autónoma Tomás Frías (UATF).

The contribution includes round-bottom flasks with ground-glass joints, condensers, and other specialized glassware used in chemical synthesis, distillation, and related laboratory procedures. The donation also includes two electric heating and stirring units, which enable the controlled heating and mixing required for a wide range of chemical experiments and research activities.

Representatives of AV Consult formally delivered the equipment to faculty members of the UATF Chemistry Department during a handover ceremony in Potosí.

The donated materials will expand opportunities for practical, hands-on learning while strengthening the department’s capacity to undertake laboratory-based research. By providing students and researchers with access to essential scientific equipment, the initiative contributes to improved academic training and supports the development of local technical and scientific expertise.
